With curiosity regarding our body’s ability to heal visually and physically, I put off my burning cigarette on my skin on purpose, as I was intrigued also by the aspect of the action.
During the healing process, what started as photographic documentation turned into an urge to make a cast out of it and preserve the scar tissue not only as a physical object but as a digital file that can be present everywhere and at the same time.
