Exhaled Melodies
Exhaled Melodies is a growing installation composed of second-hand CD cases collected from different households. Their paper inserts, turned inside out, reveal nicotine stains accumulated over years of exposure to cigarette smoke. The work treats these discolorations as architectural records, tracing how everyday rituals gradually inscribe themselves onto the objects a space contains.

Cigarette Burn
With curiosity regarding our body’s ability to heal visually and physically, I put off my burning cigarette on my skin on purpose, as I was intrigued also by the aspect of the action.
During the healing process, what started as photographic documentation turned into an urge to make a cast out of it and preserve the scar tissue not only as a physical object but as a digital file that can be present everywhere and at the same time.

Discarded, 2020 - 2025
The library of Copenhagen discards books on regular basis and send them for extermination by fire. Before shipping them to the burning facility, the books are thrown into dumpsters at the back of the library - where I smuggle them from. With the books I have created 3 bodies of work: mini-monuments, prints and mirrors.

I am creating singular piles after putting their color, size and content in consideration, cut big and clean holes in them and finally put thin tin cups that are typical for Jewish long-lasting mourning candles.
